About us

Ward Street Community Resources is a nonprofit 501(c), formed in 2004 and is a volunteer-staffed organization co-located at Ward Street Mission United Methodist Church. We serve the communities in the southwest section of High Point, North Carolina.

Our services include a food pantry, clothing closet, emergency assistance for rent or utilities.

​

Drive-thru food service is on Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30am. To quality you must have a Second Harvest card and present it. You are eligible to receive food from us once a calendar month if you're under age 65 and twice a calendar month if 65 or older.

The Clothes Closet is open on Thursdays from 10am - 1pm EDT/EST.

Emergency Financial Assistance is available if we have funding and you qualify. Please call 336-888-6091 to find out more or schedule an appointment.

Ward Street Community Resources is located inside The Village Life Cathedral located at 1619 West Ward Avenue, High Point, North Carolina 27260. We utilize the entrance door on the west side of the church off Wrightenberry Street.
